Kreidersville Covered Bridge Association
We are always accepting volunteers. We typically meet once a month. And all volunteers work together in the preservation of the bridge. If interested please contact the Allen Township building at 610-262-7012 or send us an email!

Beginning in 1998 Boy Scout Troop 40 members volunteered and restored deteriorating boards, scraped paint, and repainted the bridge. Eagle Scouts Stephen Groller and Wasyl Mauser from Boy Scout Troop 40 of Allen Twp, Pa. have added to the beauty of the historic covered bridge via installing cobblestone pavers which beautify the entranceway of the bridge. Wasyl Mauser and Stephen Grollers jobs consisted not only of actual construction work, but also of designing a plan, organizing donations of materials, and scheduling volunteer assistants for the project. Wasyl Mauser also ensured that proper products and equipment were used to assure that the olden days ambiance was preserved at the historic Kreidersville Covered Bridge. They also proudly donated numerous hours of their time constructing a versa lock wall on the grounds. Fellow Scouts assisted with Troop 40 projects. In addition, Holly and Wasyl Mauser Jr. could often be seen atop Farmall tractors beautifying the bridge landscape. Many volunteers have performed extensive cleanup at the bridge grounds following storms that have downed trees and flooded the grounds in the past.

We would like to recognize the following members/volunteers who have donated many hours into the care, preservation, and yearly events that take place at the Kreidersville Covered Bridge. Their donation of time for numerous preparations is greatly appreciated. What they have accomplished is an inspiration to others. Their caring has benefited greatly in the preservation of our historic Kreidersville Covered Bridge.

The Kreidersville Covered Bridge Association is a nonprofit organization. While we have made some great strides, Our organization still has a lot to accomplish. We need your support to continue our goal in preserving the historic covered bridge, providing festivals, and other rewarding events at this historic landmark.
